How many times are you in need of help but you are hesitant to ask someone? Sometimes we go into this mode where we worry about something and need help, but we think it will come without us doing anything. It is almost as if we expect our neighbors to be mind readers when we can’t start our car in the morning and need the car jumped. When we are having trouble meeting deadlines we think about the need of help in our minds but we dare not ask for it.
In Isaiah 22, the people were doing what they could to take care of themselves in the basic ways. Their weakness was showing but they tried to keep it all together. They had a reservoir for water so the people would not go thirsty. They looked to these safety nets rather than looking to God. Instead of calling upon God, they did what they could in their own strength.
Again and again the Bible says that God will help us. Again and again we read that He will not forsake us—we will not be alone, not once. Yet there are moments when we look to the strength of our own hands and we never ask for help. We struggle. We try to do it alone. This verse speaks of “the One who did all this” – the Creator and Sustainer of everything. Today let us ask. Let us look to the One who did all this—the One who planned this long ago. Never be afraid or too proud to ask.
“Between the city walls, you build a reservoir for water from the old pool. But you never ask for help from the One who did all this. You never considered the One who planned this long ago.” – Isaiah 22:11 [NLT]
I’ve been surfing on-line greater than 3 hours lately,

It is lovely value sufficient for me. Personally, if all web owners
and bloggers made good content material as you did, the
internet might be much more helpful than ever before.
