ALWAYS WITH YOU

NOTHING SEPARATES YOU

38 For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers,

39 nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.

HE IS FOR YOU

31 What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?

HE IS WITH YOU THROUGH THE DEEP

I will be with you.

When you go through rivers of difficulty,

you will not drown.

you will not be burned up;

the flames will not consume you.

10 fear not, for I am with you;

    be not dismayed, for I am your God;

I will strengthen you, I will help you,

Fear Not… I AM YOUR GOD!

He can only be your God because…

God is KNOWABLE

1. GOD IS KNOWABLE

HE ALLOWS US TO KNOW HIM… that’s the only way we can declare Him our God.

Jeremiah 9:23-24 English Standard Version (ESV)

23 Thus says the Lord: “Let not the wise man boast in his wisdom, let not the mighty man boast in his might, let not the rich man boast in his riches, 24 but let him who boasts boast in this, that he understands and knows me, that I am the Lord who practices steadfast love, justice, and righteousness in the earth. For in these things I delight, declares the Lord.”

2 Peter 1:3 The Passion Translation (TPT)

Everything we could ever need for life and complete devotion to God has already been deposited in us by his divine power. For all this was lavished upon us through the rich experience of knowing him who has called us by name and invited us to come to him through a glorious manifestation of his goodness.

John 17:1-3 English Standard Version (ESV)

17 When Jesus had spoken these words, he lifted up his eyes to heaven, and said, “Father, the hour has come; glorify your Son that the Son may glorify you, since you have given him authority over all flesh, to give eternal life to all whom you have given him. And this is eternal life, that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom you have sent.

2. GOD IS APPROACHABLE

James 4:7-8 English Standard Version (ESV)

Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded.

Jeremiah 33:3 English Standard Version (ESV)

Call to me and I will answer you, and will tell you great and hidden things that you have not known.

Hebrews 4:16 English Standard Version (ESV)

16 Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.

Ephesians 3:10-12 English Standard Version (ESV)

10 so that through the church the manifold wisdom of God might now be made known to the rulers and authorities in the heavenly places. 11 This was according to the eternal purpose that he has realized in Christ Jesus our Lord, 12 in whom we have boldness and access with confidence through our faith in him.

God is God…

… that doesn’t change whether you declare Him God or not.

Is He YOUR God?

It’s personal…

Have you accepted Jesus?

John 14:5-14 New International Version (NIV)

Thomas said to him, “Lord, we don’t know where you are going, so how can we know the way?”

Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.

If you really know me, you will know my Father as well. From now on, you do know him and have seen him.”

Philip said, “Lord, show us the Father and that will be enough for us.”

Jesus answered: “Don’t you know me, Philip, even after I have been among you such a long time? Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father. How can you say, ‘Show us the Father’?

10 Don’t you believe that I am in the Father, and that the Father is in me? The words I say to you I do not speak on my own authority. Rather, it is the Father, living in me, who is doing his work.

11 Believe me when I say that I am in the Father and the Father is in me; or at least believe on the evidence of the works themselves.

12 Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father.

13 And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son.

14 You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it.

Do you “know” know God?

1 John 4:6-7 English Standard Version (ESV)

We are from God. Whoever knows God listens to us; whoever is not from God does not listen to us. By this we know the Spirit of truth and the spirit of error.

Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God, and whoever loves has been born of God and knows God.

Do you live with God above all?

Or are you worshiping other things?

Colossians 3:1-4 English Standard Version (ESV)

If then you have been raised with Christ, seek the things that are above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth. For you have died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. When Christ who is your life appears, then you also will appear with him in glory.

Romans 12:1 English Standard Version (ESV)

12 I appeal to you therefore, brothers, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual worship.

Romans 1:25 The Passion Translation (TPT)

25 all because they traded the truth of God for a lie. They worshiped and served the things God made rather than the God who made all things—glory and praises to him for eternity of eternities! Amen!

Romans 1:25 The Message (MSG)

24-25 So God said, in effect, “If that’s what you want, that’s what you get.” It wasn’t long before they were living in a pigpen, smeared with filth, filthy inside and out. And all this because they traded the true God for a fake god, and worshiped the god they made instead of the God who made them—the God we bless, the God who blesses us. Oh, yes!

In any and every circumstance, I have learned the secret of facing plenty and hunger, abundance and need. 13 I can do all things through him who strengthens me.

Psalm 46:1-3 English Standard Version (ESV)

a very present help in trouble.

though the mountains tremble at its swelling. Selah

He strengthens you to overcome temptations

He strengthens you to glorify Him

1 Peter 4:11 English Standard Version (ESV)
