Read Psalm 86. Today, we are looking at how there is no one like our God. First place in our lives should be reserved for Him. He alone deserves all honor, glory, and praise. In Isaiah 46:9, we read: “Remember the former things of old; for I am God, and there is no other; I am God, and there is none like Me” (ESV). This declaration is not made by God alone; again and again we read about this truth throughout the Bible.
Let us take today’s time in prayer and worship of our Lord as we read over these verses, and are reminded that there is no one like our God. Read these verses aloud as you declare them anew today.
“Who is like You, O LORD, among the gods? Who is like You, majestic in holiness, awesome in glorious deeds, doing wonders” (Exodus 15:11 ESV).“’O Lord GOD, You have begun to show Your servant Your greatness and Your strong hand; for what god is there in heaven or on earth who can do such works and mighty acts as Yours?” (Deuteronomy 3:24 NASB).
“No one is holy like the LORD! There is no one besides you; there is no Rock like our God” (1 Samuel 2:2 NLT). “LORD God of Israel, there is no God like You in heaven above or on earth below, who keeps the gracious covenant with your servants who walk before you with all their heart” (1 Kings 8:23 CSB). “LORD, there is no one like you. You are great; Your name is great in power” (Jeremiah 10:6 CSB)
“There is none like you among the gods, O Lord, nor are there any works like yours” (Psalm 86:8 ESV). “God, there’s no one like you; there’s no other god as famous as you. You outshine all others and your miracles make it easy to know you.” (Psalm 86:8 TPT).
Let us thank Him and praise Him! There is no one like our God. Amen!
