Empowered for Triumph

Many people have low self esteem. I was once one of the many that would fall into that category. Words are powerful, having both the power to bring life or to bring death (Proverbs 18:21). From the very beginning, God spoke things into existence (Genesis 1). We are created in His image so we have the power to also speak things into existence (Genesis 1:27). He gave us authority. In Luke 10:19, we read: “Now you understand that I have imparted to you all my authority to trample over his kingdom. You will trample upon every demon before you and overcome every power Satan possesses. Absolutely nothing will be able to harm you as you walk in this authority” (TPT).

In Psalm 92:10, we read: “Your anointing has made me strong and mighty. You’ve empowered my life for triumph by pouring fresh oil over me” (TPT). God gives us the victory. We are promised that we will overcome in Christ Jesus. We read in 1 John 5:4-5, “For everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith.Who is it that overcomes the world? Only the one who believes that Jesus is the Son of God” (NIV). Despite what anyone tells you — whether you are told you are not good enough, stupid, too far gone, not pretty enough, not educated enough, not worthy, weak, etc., God says you have the authority, you have the victory, you are good enough because He has qualified you (2 Corinthians 3:5). He even promises that you will do greater things (John 14:12). Remember my friend, YOU are empowered for triumph. Today, may you follow God’s leading and walk in His power toward the victory He has already proclaimed for your life.

“I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened, so that you will know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, and what is the surpassing greatness of His power toward us who believe. These are in accordance with the working of the strength of His might which He brought about in Christ, when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places, far above all rule and authority and power and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in the one to come” (Ephesians 1:18-21 NASB). Amen!
