What do you have that grace has not given you? Grace. Undeserved favor. Power and influence from God. Grace. Again I ask: What do you have that grace has not given you?

We have so much that we often take things for granted. As we consider grace, we are reminded that God gives us favor that we do not earn — it’s something He does because He is a loving and good Father. We are also reminded that He gives us power and influence even in our weakness. He pours out and pours out some more (John 1:16). We go from still sinners to co-heirs with Christ. We go from dead in our sins to overcoming through Christ. We go from broken to made new. It is clear when we look back on every single day of our lives, that He has blessed us so very much. Let us give thanks!

Today, consider how God has poured out His grace in your life. Grace is free and undeserved (Romans 11:5-6). Grace is sufficient for you (2 Corinthians 12:9). Grace abounds (Romans 5:20). Grace empowers (2 Timothy 2:1). Grace triumphs (Romans 6:1-4). Let us today and always thank God for His grace. Draw near to the throne of grace. Hebrews 4:16 says: “Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need” (ESV). May we keep drawing near and may we be ever grateful.

“For what makes a distinction between you and someone else? And what do you have that grace has not given you? And if you received it as a gift, why do you boast as though there is something special about you?” – 1 Corinthians 4:7 [TPT]

Thank you God for Your amazing grace. You continue to pour out Your blessings in my life. Please help me to stay humble Lord. Remind me of Your grace in my life. Show me ways to live a life of grace toward others. In Jesus’ Name. Amen!
